Flyway: Flight Simulator
Privacy policy
Flyway is a single-player flight simulator. It stores the minimum needed to keep your career safe across phones, show a ranking, and sell aircraft. It shows no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites. This page lists exactly what is stored, where, for how long, and how to have it removed.
1. What we collect and why
Account identifier, display name and email address
A random user id, plus the name and email attached to the Google or Apple account you sign in with.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or advertising identifiers, and we collect no analytics about how you use the app. There is no crash reporting service in the app.
2. Signing in
Signing in is required so your career can be saved to the cloud. You can use Google on Android and iOS, or Sign in with Apple on iOS. We receive only the identifier, display name and email that the provider sends. With Sign in with Apple you may hide your email, in which case we receive Apple's private relay address instead. Your password is never shared with us.
3. Purchases
Aircraft can be bought once as an in-app purchase. The payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google, and we never see your payment card or billing details. We record only which aircraft you own, so the app can restore them on a new phone through the store's restore purchases feature.
4. Ranking
If you are signed in, your display name, in-game cash and experience points are published to an in-game ranking visible to other signed-in players. If your account has no display name, the ranking shows “Pilot” followed by a number derived from your account identifier. No other information about you is shown.
5. Who the data is shared with
- Google Firebase, operated by Google LLC, stores sign-in records, careers and ranking entries on our behalf. Google's privacy policy applies to its handling of that data, atfirebase.google.com/support/privacy.
- Apple and Google Play process in-app purchases, and Sign in with Apple or Google, under their own terms.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than running the game. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising software.
6. How long we keep it
Your career and ranking entry are kept for as long as your account exists. Data held on your phone is removed when you delete the app.
7. Removing your data
In the app: open the menu, tap your name, then choose Forget me. That deletes your sign-in record from Firebase, including your name and email, straight away. Your ranking entry is renamed “Deleted pilot”, and your career record remains as an unnamed document that can no longer be linked to you. Signing in again later starts a new career.
Complete erasure: email the address below with the name you signed in with, and we will delete every record, including the unnamed career and ranking entry, within 30 days.
8. Children
Flyway is rated for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Signing in requires a Google or Apple account, which those providers restrict by age. If you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete the account.
9. Security
All data travels over encrypted connections and is stored on Google's infrastructure. Access rules ensure that only you can read or change your own career, and that ranking entries can be written only by their owner.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. You can exercise these rights in the app through Forget me, or by emailing us. We respond within 30 days.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change what the app stores, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
